i love my job | calgary family photographer

I have been swamped the past two weeks.  Add in to that a surgery for my husband, my mother in law in the hospital, a photography conference/classes in Banff and too many kids in my house to count and it’s a recipe for a little bit of complaining to Terry (my hubby).  Yes… I love my job but it does get overwhelming at times.  Terry put it in to perspective for me yesterday morning and told me that he thinks I rave about it more than I whine.  I promptly disagreed because I was just being grumpy.

Later that morning I went out to the Bow Valley Ranche area of Fish Creek Park and did portraits for this family.  Clients like this…  images like this… make it all worthwhile.  THIS is why I love my job.  I walked in the door afterwards and announced to Terry that I love my job.  Honestly I wasn’t even thinking about my grumpy morning.  He gave me a look and I of course remembered…. and laughed.
