I had the pleasure of photographing the catalogue for the 2010/2011 season of Knitwits hats (out of Toronto). The hats are completely adorable and there are so many to choose from. Sock Monkeys, dragons, owls, dogs, mice, cats, bunnies, and even a finding nemo style of fish. They even have mittens to match. A great big thank you to all of the sweet little Calgary models that braved the snow and cold. Here are just a few of my favorites…

Birthing Magazine Website – Calgary Photographer
One of my most favorite magazines has chosen 2 of my images to use on the front page of their website! Birthing Magazine is the resource in Calgary and surrounding areas for birth stories, articles, and information on safe, healthy, natural options in pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting. I can’t help but pick up this magazine whenever I see it because as most people who know me know that I am in love with babies, birth and anything related to babies. :) I credit this love to the reason I became a photographer. After having 4 of my own babies I figured that I can’t keep having them myself so instead I can be a part of childbirth by being one of the only birth photographers in Calgary and also capturing those precious newborn moments by doing on-location newborn photography.
Wow, I got a little bit off topic there, I can’t help it – I get excited when I talk about birth. Anyway, along with the website, Birthing Magazine also has a brand new look with full color glossy pages. I’ve had a few images in the magazine as well which makes me proud. Here is an image of the front page of their website. My images are the little guy with the hat… he is actually my good friend Jodi’s son. :) Oh, and I also did the photography for the image that is on the advertisement for “The Baby Buddy” nursing pillows which happens to be on the front page as well. How cool is that?
