I love the character and fire that this little guy has.  He loves to have fun!  He ended the session swinging in the swing in the back yard along the river and looked like he was going to fall asleep, he was so cute.  :)  His little sister was a perfect baby from all of her adorable dark hair right down to her chubby little toes.

Family Portraits in Bowness, Calgary

This family had a tea party planned and though we got some wonderful pictures of it, we also had meltdowns.  Meltdowns that in the end resulted in big sister sharing tea and cheerios with her little sister.  That folks, is the wonderful thing about sisters.  It isn’t always perfect, but it’s always perfect.  Just having a sister by your side makes life wonderful even when it isn’t.

I spent the day today with 2 of my sisters.  When we were younger I always thought the 4 of us girls would live in the same city.  I couldn’t ever picture us apart.  We are apart, in distance… and sometimes we don’t talk for long periods of time but we always know we are there for each other and that feeling is one of the best in the world.  Sisters are lucky, it’s as simple as that.  These sisters are lucky.

I had a quick little visit with this cutie pie today and was in love with all of his blond hair.  It took a little while to get him to sleep but with lots of cuddles from his mom who is completely enamoured with her little newborn he fell into a deep sleep (short, but deep).  :)
