These three children were so cute and sweet and perfect little posers for their pictures.  It was such an easy portrait session with a sleepy newborn girl and her 2 older siblings who obviously adored her.  She is one lucky little girl…

Sweet little Miller was such an great little one to photograph.  He only cried once during my visit and even then it was for about 30 seconds.  I love all of his hair and his nice big eyes.  I swear he almost smiled a couple of times even though he is only 9 days old.  He’ll be smiling in no time.  (don’t forget to leave comments).

We are off again for 1 last week of enjoying summer and then it is back to the grind.  :)  September session dates are all full except for 2 spaces for newborns so if you are having a baby and want a date for newborn pictures please give me a call soon!

I hope everyone is enjoying the last little bit of summer, it seems like it just started and now it’s over.  sigh.  You have to love Calgary summers.

You would not believe the photographers heaven that we had yesterday!    I met with Chris and Andrea in Sylvan Lake to do their engagement photographs.  The weather was iffy all day but I decided to make the drive anyway and hope for the best.  I was so glad that I did!!!  Chris and Andrea were the best ever, fun, easy going and gorgeous to boot.  Chris owns Shredz, a skate shop in Sylvan Lake so of course they had the cool clothes, but even better, I walked up and saw THE coolest bikes in front of the store.  I have always wanted to get pictures of a girl riding on the handle bars and Andrea was totally up for it.  YAY.  Add in the lake , the pier in Sylvan Lake and birds.  Yum.

Ok, so, great weather meant great skies, a great couple meant great pictures, and… and great friend (Jodi Getz) met me there to help.  Jodi and I work so well together, each of us seeing something different in the scene and it just topped off a great night.  At the risk of rambling on about my excitement over these pictures I’m just going to quit writing now and probably come back later and delete half of what I wrote but mah.. whatever.

I couldn’t resist showing so many, there were way too many great ones to choose just a few.

Don’t forget to leave comments for Andrea and Chris (below).  Thanks!

Meet Angela and Cheryl.  They were a blast to do headshots with, so much so that it was hard to quit.
