I’m still here!  I am just trying frantically to get things wrapped up so I can enjoy the summer with my kiddos.  :)  I can’t wait for our camping trips to start.  We are leaving in two weeks for the Okanagan where we will be for 3 weeks.  We get to go to a wedding in the middle in Penticton.  My “not so little” cousin is getting married.

One teeny tiny sneek peek for now… meet little Seva, just 5 days old and not even 6 pounds and oh so sweet.

Happy almost summer everyone!  I wanted to share a new product that I have started carrying.  Introducing the Image Box.  These little boxes are oh so cute and designed especially for you.  Each box contains 18 matted images.  The images are printed are gorgeous linen paper that has a slight texture that you will LOVE.  The whole box can be put on display on your coffee table or, to change it up a little you can take one image out of the box at a time and have it on a little stand to show off and change often.  :)

The image boxes can be done up to display one session or for new babies you could have 2 or three sessions in a year and do your image box to show off a whole year of your baby.  How awesome would that be as a keepsake of how your baby has grown over the course of a year?

For those clients that have already had a session and are wondering if you can still order your pictures this way the answer is YES!  Not only is the answer yes but you will receive $100.00 off your box if you order it before July 10th.

Oh, and just so everyone knows…. I am NOT a product photographer nor do I claim to be one.  Believe it or not I found this task much more difficult than photographing a person.  Set a baby on my kitchen table and I’m good to go but this little box scared the bijeepers (is that a word?) out of  me hence the not so wonderful photographs.  The Image Box looks much nicer in person.

Woohoo – check this out.  One of my images will be on the next cover of Birthing Magazine.  I’m honoured that they have chosen one of my images for the cover.  I have always loved reading it.  I’ve always loved anything to do with birth and the magazine has so much information.   I think it is one of the reasons that I started doing Birth Photography as well. Thank you to beautiful Melanie who gave me permission to use her image.

There is also a feature story inside called “Standing your Ground” which has one of my images taking up half the page.  Super exciting for me.  Thank you to Lyda and her family for the awesome shot of Jack.

Birthing Magazine can be found in many health care offices if you are looking for it.  I also have a box delivered to me if you are looking for an issue.

You may notice over the next day or two that the blog looks a little bit wonky.  That is because there are updates being done and when they are finished it will be even better, and prettier than before – stay tuned and in the meantime just pretend it doesn’t look all weird and crazy.  :)
