This little sweetie celebrated her first birthday last week and her Mom wanted to capture the moments forever so we met today at Fish Creek Park.  Look at her little curls – aren’t they the cutest?

Last week-end I met this awesome family for some Family Portraits in downtown Calgary.  I LOVED them.  The kids were great and I’m sure it had nothing to do with the bubblegum and bouncy balls I brought.   We spend an hour wandering and hanging out and stopping occasionally for a photograph and everyone was so co-operative.  A great morning it was. 

I am thinking about doing some mini sessions for families that would like some special images that reflect their children.  These sessions will be done with each child individually so that attention can be spent on capturing their true personality.

I took my littlest guy out yesterday just to hang out and we did some fun pictures of him while we enjoyed our day.  He loves having his pictures taken and is turning in to quite the little model and today he didn’t even stick his tongue out once!  Major break through.  

This next one was as we got home… I had a million things to unload from the van (as every mother always does) and he ran up to unlock the door.  He ended up locking us out because he doesn’t actually know HOW to unlock the door but that’s another story.  :)

Gorgeous Eyes… that is what I thought when I first saw this sweet little girl.  Can you believe how big her eyes are and how much hair she has?  Sooooo sweet. 

We actually got to go for a little walk on 4th Street in downtown Calgary because the weather co-operated perfectly.  These pictures are a little different than what I normally do for babies but it was a nice change and Parminder and Trevors personalities fit this type of portrait very well I think.  I know you guys are eager to see these, I can’t wait to show you the rest!

I am heading out of town this week-end to enjoy some camping with my family… can’t wait to spend some time outdoors and packing the trailer tonight was awesome, the trailer smelled like the outdoors and campfires.  ahhhh.  Love it.

See these little hearts on the next image?  That is a painting that Parminder did,  I LOVE it – she had quite a few different paintings hanging around the house and I loved them all.  Maybe she should take that up as a profession and give up her job as a Lawyer. 

See this shot below?  She was so cute – when it was time to go to sleep she covered her eyes, popped her thumb in her mouth and shut out the world.  Shortly after this she was sleeping soundly.  Sweet dreams.
