merry christmas everyone…

December 23, 2007

As Christmas day is almost upon us I wanted to send everyone well wishes for Peace, Love and Joy this Christmas. Our family is busily preparing for the big day that we will get to spend at my Mom and Dads with many of our loved ones. Family and friends gather on Christmas eve with more than 30 people spending time together. Songs and laughter fill the air as we visit with those we don’t see often. Sadly, two of my sisters will not be making it this year as new events in their lives are keeping them home. Bobbi-Lynne will spend the holidays in Stony Plain with Mark and her 5 children, including their sweet new baby. Suzanne will be spending time with my Aunt and cousins on Vancouver Island as she has taken a new job at a Veterinary hospital out there. Hugs to you guys, it won’t be the same without you.

Meanwhile, here at home, we are enjoying some quiet days and are happy that I am finally getting some time off from work. The kids and Terry went skating a the lake tonight while I stayed home to fight off a nasty bout of bronchitis. I was sad to miss it as they all came back in the door half hour ago laughing and telling skating stories. Kiana just learned to skate this year and every time she takes the first step on to the ice she falls, and laughs at herself because she knows it is going to happen. Both of the boys have learned to stop properly instead of careening into over the side of the rink into the snow bank and coming to an abrupt halt. Stopping is a good thing because they will both be starting recreational hockey in January.

Just a quick share of my sweeties for you tonight….
