Peter and Jessica – a Canmore Wedding…

I’ve been waiting a long time to assist at a wedding in the mountains. Yesterday morning in Calgary came with dark skies and no sign of the rain letting up. In Canmore at the Silver Tip Golf Club it wasn’t looking much different. The gazebo and chairs sitting in the foreground with the gorgeous mountains behind were dripping with rain and the outdoor ceremony was moved indoors. We didn’t have high hopes of doing many outdoor shots although we were hoping for a few. Imagine our surprise when the fog lifted, the rain stopped and the sun tried it’s hardest to peek through. I’m sure Jessica and Peter were happy knowing that their mountain wedding would reflect in their photos.

Jessica and Peter met while travelling overseas assisting others that are less fortunate and seem to have many of the same goals. It was easy to see by the respect they had for each other, the easygoing demeanors on such a hectic day, and the secret smiles seen throughout the day that their love will last.

These centerpieces are one of the nicest I have ever seen. I loved them!
