Mitch and Jo | Vancouver Island Wedding
I could ramble on and on about how completely wonderful this wedding was, or I can tell you about one of the best moments of the day that will sum it all up. I was taking photos of the wild and crazy dancing near the end of the night when out of the corner of my eye I noticed Mitch and Jo (The bride and groom) standing off to the side. They were holding hands and watching the celebration with the biggest smiles on their faces. I’m not talking a normal cute little smile… I’m talking “this is the best day of our lives” type of smile. It encapsulated pride, love, amazement, joy and a hundred other awesome feelings all rolled together to create a look I have never seen before. I ran for the camera but it was too late – someone stopped to ask one of them to dance and the moment was gone. The memories however, will be there forever.
Family and friends put their whole hearts in to making it all come together at Enrico Winery on Vancouver Island and I don’t think it could have been any more perfect.
The above photos were done by me (Michelle) but I’d like to send out a very very special thank you to my friend Shelley and Jeff of As I See It Photography. They did an amazing job of the posed portraits of my cousin Jo (bride), Mitch (groom) and wedding party. Click on their link to see their photos! Words can not say how grateful I am to both of you. You are seriously awesome.
