Jeff and Natalie

Earlier this year I visited Rocky Mountain House to photograph the wedding of Jeff and Natalie.  The day I arrived it was fairly warm with no snow on the ground and later on in the day we could feel the cold moving in. It was a good thing that their outdoor tent the evening before the wedding had heaters.  Though, I’m not sure it would have stopped everyone from having a great time if it didn’t.  This is one fun, connected family group.

Overnight a crazy blizzard blew in to blanket everything with a dusting of snow.  Not the day that was planned but a beautiful wintery wedding nonetheless.  Thankfully the wind stopped blowing and the sun started to shine. Natalie, Jeff and their families were really really wonderful.  So welcoming and easy going.  It was a pleasure to be there and an experience I’ll remember for a long time.

The experience was made even more wonderful because I was alongside my friend Michelle Loewen from Victoria whom I don’t get to see often enough!  You can have a peek at her images from the day here.
