Sometimes as I’m sitting here late at night editing pictures of all of these amazing newborn babies I find it difficult to sit down and “blog” about them. In other words, how do I post their pictures for their proud parents to see, and write something different about each one. Each one is different, without a doubt. Each home that I go into has a different story, a different kind of love, a different energy, and yet how do I describe that when I’m writing?

I take the easy way out. I’m scared to share too much information about each family because I’m not sure how much they want to share, so I keep my words to a minimum and show off the pictures. Really, what I’m feeling each and every time is that I can’t believe that I am lucky enough to have this job that I love so much. I am so blessed to be able to capture the first days of a newborn or a family with children that grow up so quickly. Sometimes I just can’t believe that it is me that can give this gift. Even though I am giving a gift of memories, each and every time I leave a home, or a park after doing the photos I feel so blessed because I too have been given something. I get a quick glance into all of these different lives and it is so wonderful and amazing. I get to see how much love their is in a home, and quite often I am bowled over by the love. It’s easy to rush around all day and look after a family, but I encourage everyone to really stop and look at your home and your family as a stranger would. I think, and hope that you will be amazed by what you see. I am, each time. I am truly amazed. Thank-you to all of the wonderful families I have photographed through the years. Thank you for showing me just how special each little moment is.

I took these pictures a few weeks ago in Lakeview. Her parents haven’t gotten a chance to see these photos yet so here is a quick little peek at your precious baby girl that has probably changed already. I can’t wait to show you the rest.
